Even though California Coast University is not regionally accredited, we still recommend them because of the number of courses and degrees offered. They offer 11 master’s degree programs in organizational leadership, business administration, education, and science. They also offer three doctorate programs in educational administration, educational psychology, and organizational leadership. Many businesses, the U.S. federal government, and the U.S. military have used California Coast University degrees as a basis for promotions, assignments, and position qualification standards.

California Coast University also offers correspondence courses for prisoners at the undergraduate level

Comments: Good school. Good program. Materials state that degrees and credits earned through CCU are recognized for promotions, assignments, and position qualification standards within the US military and federal government. The school sends a long list of private companies that have reimbursed all or a portion of a student’s tuition during or after their degree was completed at CCU. These would be employees of the listed companies. This shows that CCU’s degrees are well respected in the workplace.

School Comments: California Coast University was founded to meet the needs of qualified, highly motivated persons whose geographic, professional, or personal time constraints keep them from completing their education in traditional, on-campus programs. CCU offers flexible programs at affordable tuition rates. Academic credit may be awarded for previous work experience or training. Faculty and staff are available to offer individual assistance as students progress through the program, and all exams are open-book and open notes.
