Call to Action: Prisology T-Shirts and Sentencing Reform

Today a new project crossed my desk concerning the guys at Prisology — an up-and-coming prison reform organization created by noted prison law expert Brandon Sample and respected federal attorney Jeremy Gordon.  This project concerns the U.S. Sentencing Commission’s approaching determination on reforms to federal drug sentencing and the potential retroactivity of any determinations.

In an effort to add a human spin to this project, Prisology has asked supporters to swing by http://www.prisology.org/shop/ and to purchase their “I want retroactive sentencing reform” T-shirt, take a selfie while wearing the T-shirt, and email them the photo at [email protected] for them to use in their sentencing reform efforts.  If you do so, please mention that PrisonEducation.com sent you.

We don’t often ask our readers to buy products or services.  Instead, we strive to provide all that we can for free.  In this instance, though, we are asking you to buy a T-shirt.  These T-shirts cost $25, and all proceeds will go to the guys at Prisology — one of the prison reform organizations that we are friendly with and trust.

Thanks for your consideration.  Together we, and the guys at Prisology, can make federal sentencing reform a reality, not just a dream.
