Mr. Harrell’s highly acclaimed work has resulted in his selection as a headliner on 3 November 2013 at a National Dialogue on Mass Incarceration “Teach In” at the Unitarian Universalist 9th Annual Joseph Priestley District Racial Justice Conference at the Unitarian Society of Germantown at 6511 Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The model for successful re-entry and reintegration he has created through The Center for Returning Citizens resulted in Mr. Harrell’s and his organization’s selection for a leadership role in 2013 International Men’s Day in the City of Philadelphia which will be by observed individuals, organizations, and individuals in over 70 nations on Tuesday, 19 November 2013 under the theme, “Keeping Men And Boys Safe”.
